Important information about Camp Kraft, please read it all.

General information

Here are some useful information about Camp Kraft

    • The area where Camp Kraft is located is private land that is owned by a home owners association.

    • You need a code to open the gate.

    • You will find the code in your welcome email.

    • The entry door at Camp Kraft is locked with a code.

    • You will find your 6 letter code in your welcome email.

    • You unlock the door by pressing *code*

    • Door automatically locks at 22:30

    • In order to lock the door, please push the door until you hear a “click” sound.

    • To lock the door from ourside, press *.

    • Due to a dry summer , the ground water level in the whole archipelago is very low. Please be extra mindful and don’t waste water.

      • Take shorter showers

      • Only run the dishwasher when its full.

      • Only use the laundry machine if absolutely necessary.

    • The water at Camp Kraft is from a well on the property.

    • The water is tested and of excellent quality.

    • If the water runs low. Try to not use water for a couple of hours and call us.

    • The hotwater in the kitchen takes some time to warm up. Best way is to put the faucet all the way and then lower the speed. Hotwater should come after about 30 seconds.

    • Be mindful, save water

    • When showering, please save water by taking quick showers.

    • Never put any chemicals in the drains.

    • Everybody should sit when they use the toilet.

    • Push the the appropriate button when flushing.

    • The sewer system is located in the front of the house, under the patio.

    • The system is vented by a fan automatically every hour.

    • If there is an odor coming from the sewer please contact us immediately.

    • To play music you need to download the APP Sonos and also be connected to the WiFi

    • The Tv-Room is equipped with an Apple TV.

    • Guests can add their user credentials to Netflix, HBO Max, Disney, Amazon etc.

    • A first aid kit is located in a drawer of the washbasin in the bathroom.

    • If there’s an emergency call 112

    • Emergency Heart Starter is available down by the entry gate.

    • All organic food waste can be placed in the paper bag. When it’s full please dispose of the bag in the black compost.

    • When the other trash bin is full, it can be disposed in the bin marked Lisokalv 1:17 and it’s located halfway up the driveway.

  • Outdoor sofa cushions are in the big wooden box by the entrance. Please bring them inside when it rains.

    • The grill is a standard Weber propane grill.

    • The use of the grill is included in the rent.

    • Propane is not included in the rent and will have to be refilled if you run out.

    • The closest place to refill Propane is at Granngården in Sorunda at Sundby 11, 148 97 Sorunda

    • Just bring the empty canister and pay for a refill.

  • You are welcome to make a fire in the outdoor fire pit. Some ground rules.

    • Sweden has something called Allemansrätten, which translates to something like - Freedom to roam.

    • Allemansrätten gives a person the right to access, walk, cycle, ride, ski, and camp on any land—with the exception of private gardens, the immediate vicinity of a dwelling house and land under cultivation.

  • You can unload the car outside of the entry path. Then please park the car up by the parking sign that say “Parkering 96”.

  • As a guest of Camp Kraft you bring your own supplies such as:

    • Toilet paper

    • Trashbags

Cleaning instructions

Final cleaning at departure involves as follows:

    • Clean the refrigerator, micro and tea kettle thoroughly on the in- and outside

    • Defrost the freezer

    • Empty the dishwasher

    • Clean the cupboards, drawers and surfaces.

    • Dispose of the rubbish in the assigned place

    • Clean the shower and/or bath, wash hand basin and WC thoroughly

    • Wipe the shower glass/doors with “Fönsterputs” (Window Cleaner)

    • Wipe the mirrors

    • Dispose of the rubbish in the assigned place

    • Shake all rugs outdoors

    • Vacuum all floors

    • Mopp all washable floors

    • Vacuum the couch, armchairs and beds

    • Shake guilts, blankets and pillows outdoors

    • Wipe all tables with a damp cloth

    • Dust lamps and TV-set

    • Empty the grill

    • Clean the grillI

    • Plates, glasses and things can break - no biggie, accidents happen.

    • We only wish for you to document what broke so we now, and we can repair or replace it if needed.

    • The furnitures should be in the same place as it was prior to arrival.

    • All windows and door should be closed and locked

    • Please inform the house owner or the contact person if, for example, pillows or guilts need washing.

Services, addons and payments

As a guest at Camp Kraft you can rent a few items and pay for some services. Please contact us before arrival so we can prepare the cabin to your needs.

CCTV

We would like to take a moment to inform you about the presence of our Arlo camera at our establishment. We believe in maintaining a safe and secure environment for all our guests, and the Arlo camera plays a crucial role in achieving this.

The Arlo camera is strategically positioned to monitor the entry path, allowing us to provide a warm welcome upon your arrival and ensure your departure is smooth and hassle-free. It helps us ensure that everyone feels secure during their stay.

We want to assure you that the privacy of our guests is of utmost importance to us. The footage captured by the Arlo camera is handled with the utmost care and is only retained for a period of 30 days. After that time, it is automatically deleted, providing you with peace of mind regarding your privacy.

Please rest assured that as soon as we confirm your arrival, the Arlo camera is deactivated for the duration of your stay. We want you to feel completely at ease and enjoy your time with us without any concerns about being monitored.

Recycling, Trash and Waste Management

To ensure responsible waste disposal and minimize environmental impact, follow these guidelines:

Waste‑sorting guide — Gråväg

General waste (Green bin with small white tape label on the lid — halfway up the hill on Gråväg)

  • Non‑recyclable plastics

  • Non‑compostable paper

  • Anything that doesn’t fit another category

Organic waste (Black compost bin)

  • Food scraps and garden clippings

  • Place everything in a brown paper bag under the sink, before dropping it in the bin

On‑site outdoor recycling station (Three colour‑coded bins — right of the entrance)

All three bins are lined with black trash bags.
When you empty a bin, please replace the liner so the next person doesn’t have to hunt for one.

Blue - refunds

  • Aluminium beverage cans and any other refundable deposit containers (pant)

Yellow - plastic

  • Plastic bottles, tubs, and other rigid plastic packaging

Green - paper

  • Paper drink/food cartons, takeaway cups, other paper‑based containers

Glass and metal

  • Glass containers and metal can be placed under the three bins in a brown container.

Recycle station

The nearest recycle station is at the Coop Spångbro in Sorunda.

Internet is fast and free of charge.
